for intermediate learners who want to improve their speaking skills and immerse themselves in the Italian culture and language
Maybe you’ve been studying for a while and you lack motivation, or despite years of learning, you’re still not comfortable expressing yourself in Italian. It’s also for you if you don’t have much time, but you want to practice Italian and do something only for you.
MaryI don’t have much time (I’m a mom and a business owner) and I don’t like learning with textbooks, so the Italian Speaking Club was a perfect solution for me to practice Italian for 10 minutes everyday.
KatieWhat I liked the most about the Italian Speaking Club is that it's so flexible. You can take the practice with you any way you go, any time, you're not very tied to a really strict schedule.
MaryHo avuto una bella opportunità di parlare l'italiano ogni giorno, anche quando ho 5 o 10 minuti. È uno spazio solo per le donne che amano parlare l'italiano e chiacchierare di cose importanti, cose quotidiane.
DorotaI’m really glad that during the program I had daily contact with the Italian language, I developed my spoken Italian and became more confident in speaking.
EwaThanks to the Telegram chat and our online meetings, where I had great support of Agata and other participants, I feel more fluent when speaking Italian.
Italian Speaking Club is a 3-month-long program, and each month is dedicated to a different topic about Italian culture and lifestyle. At the beginning of the month, you receive an e-book with articles, videos, and exercises to go through at your own pace. You can send me your writing exercise and receive my feedback each month.
The second and the fourth weeks of the month are dedicated to live meetings. The first one is a Q&A session where you can ask me anything about vocabulary, grammar points, cultural aspects or your learning process. The second meeting is a conversation lesson about the topic of the month. The third one is a casual chat to share opinions and experiences.
Every day we connect via Telegram group chat where I give you some speaking prompts and personalized feedback. You send voice messages as a response. In this way, you practice your speaking in an effortless and efficient way even if you have only 5 minutes to dedicate to the Italian language.
Hi, I’m Agata, an Italian language teacher, a Polish mother tongue based in Apulia, Italy. I know your struggles in speaking Italian. I still remember me searching for words and figuring out how to create a decent conversation in Italian.
I’m here to help you to speak with confidence and practice Italian, even if you don’t have much time.
You benefit from the program the most if you’re at intermediate level, which corresponds to at least two years of learning Italian, or if you had a pause from practicing Italian. I use authentic materials in the program, so you should be able to understand a magazine article, a podcast, a video, before joining the program. If you’re not sure about your level, you can book a call with me to talk about it.
Live sessions are recorded and sent to participants.
YQ&A sessions and conversation meetings are held on Mondays, 6 PM.
I’d say that you require from 1 to 2 hours weekly, split into smaller sessions. You should be able to dedicate your time to reading or watching materials, going through the workbook, listening to other people’s messages and responding, and attending two live sessions monthly.
Sorry, but you can’t. The Italian Speaking Club is a space for only women. I love to work with women, and I adore feminine energy that shows up at live sessions and Telegram chat. Also, generally speaking, my materials are more of women’s interests (culture, lifestyle, art, personal growth).
Neither do I;) Therefore, I created a safe and small space for expressing yourself freely in Italian, even if you make mistakes, are introverted or don’t feel confident in speaking. The group numbers only 6 women.
Quitting before the end of the program is not possible because of some organization causes.
