Quali sono gli aspetti della vita in Italia che mi piacciono di più? In questo episodio ti racconto l’Italia vista con gli occhi di una straniera.

My story

When I moved to Italy in 2016, at first I liked almost everything, then over time I began to see the things that bothered me. Now I am aware of the positive things of living in Italy and also of the negative ones. I try to appreciate the beautiful ones, and to get over the most annoying ones. I enjoy living in Italy, I have a beautiful family and I have created a job that is my passion. I’m not saying that all of this was easy, quite the contrary.

Three things I love about Italy

The first one is climate. I live in southern Italy where even in winter most days are sunny and temperatures are mild. You can go for walks by the sea in January, have lunches in the garden in March, and in May you can swim in the sea, isn’t it nice?

The second thing I like in Italy is the landscape. Italy is a big country, sometimes when you move from one region to another it is as if you were in another country. I like this diversification a lot – different landscape, different cuisine, different traditions.

The third thing is obviously the food. It’s not a secret that food in Italy is excellent, what I really appreciate is also all the culture behind food. I like the fact that eating doesn’t just mean satisfying physiological needs but it means being together, talking, having fun.
